Customer Service

People say "customer is always right".
I hate that saying.

I mean, customer or not, when you're wrong, you're wrong.

But I'm not sure if this conversation should happen...

This was my conversation with a customer service operator (CS) from telco X some time ago. I was experiencing some issues with updating my data plan, they changed the way to do it and make it more complicated and confusing and the information is not available even on their website. And I have been dealing with this issue for a couple of times.
Me: why is your system so complicated? And there is no information about it online or anywhere at all. It is quite inconvenient for me to call service centre each time. Sometimes I can't get through. We won't care to memorize it you know, since it's so complicated.
CS: you can check your message history.
Me: ..... *long lecture ensues.

What-The-Brat??

Seriously? I already freaking know that you effing moron. That is something besides the point. Furthermore, some phones don't keep message history. Some auto delete old messages (which is my case) , some might change new phone or formatted the phone. Anyway, my point is, the message history might not be available. How can you even think of saying that?

What I was putting forth at that time was that since the system is so complicated, it should at least be available online. Or they should send an email to us about the process. When they receive a call such as mine (which I'm sure they receive a lot) they should consider to give an option to the client to get the info by email or service text, or something. Instead, I got that non answer that doesn't help me in any way.
He had just unleashed the wrath of the Brat.

I know the stress of dealing with clients, and I also know for a fact client is not always right. But showing that you think the client is not very there in the knowledge department is just plain rude. Plus, you are technically giving me a non answer which is not an answer or solution to my current predicament.

I called the service centre for assistance.
If I wanted sassy remark,
I could have just consulted myself.

Sincerely Bratty,

Just So U Know....

Just so you know,

I am a terrible person.
I sabotage people for no reason
I caused people to lose job cause I can
I make people look bad to look good
I am racist
I am sexist
I like to steal people's job.

Yes, I do that. Cause I don't freaking have any other work to do.

Because I am not busy enough juggling 50 things at the same time.

Because I'm so freaking free I need to do something like putting prejudice on people

Because out of hundreds of people with hundreds of heads and hundreds of expectations and hundreds of request, only that particular person I purposely decide to give trouble to.

Oh please.. my world does not revolve around anyone. YOU are just one of the many in the solar eclipse. so if sometimes I missed you out, don't take it to heart. It meant nothing. Yes, as much as it pains you to realize it, YOU meant nothing.

I might as well just do it. Even when I am not doing it people are saying I'm purposely doing it.

Helping people out while risking myself in the process don't get seen.
Backing them up at the cost of my own won't be appreciated.
Wrecking my brains out to find solution for them is considered an offence when it doesn't work the way they want it to.
Going extra length when it is not even my job is taken for granted.
Busting my ass to cover for their mistake is just me trying to steal their job.

Why, do I bother again?

Just a little rambling from a frustrated Brat.

Random Thursday:Seriously Random

Why is it when you have so many things to do, you usually find yourself not knowing what to do?

Why is it, when you are so busy, you have tons and tons of ideas to blog about but when you have free time like right at this moment, your mind goes blank?

I had been busy with a lot of things this past few weeks, I rarely had time to reflect on my life. I just re-discovered the wonders of makeup during one of our shows in September when my awesome aunt introduced me to her sister-in-law makeup skills. Checkout her facebook page if you wanna engage her.

I totally dig this makeup
My sister's makeup is also done by her.
I feel I have never looked more pretty (despite the slightly red eyes). Now if only I get to wear the makeup with the gorgeous baju kurung designs from Zalora's online butik my life would be complete! Unfortunately for me, my budget is SUUUUPER terrible right now. I will have to KIV first. But SOOON!

Anyways, thanks to this, lately I have been experimenting on makeup myself. I "accidentally" spent my non-existent budget for makeup. *sigh~ Photos? next time... hahah

Oh, and I have also just passed my twenty seven *gasp* birthday! I can't believe how old I am already! I spent too much time hanging around people younger than me that I totally forgot my real age. (yeah right). As if people will actually allow me to forget it. lol. But anyways, for my birthday, I had a special cute little doodle from one of my favourite comic blogger, Akiraceo a.k.a Jian a.k.a Miaow.

Go and check out his blog "Miaow & WafuPafu" and keep on reading. You'll love him as much as I do in no time!

I have also completely toasted my BB and my Android. Now currently I have just "borrowed" my mom's phone so that I won't waste my data plan. So please understand if I do not respond to any whatsapp or bbm or tweets as diligently as I used to.

So to complete my Random day post, I'm going to share some sentences that may change your life. For me, it is good food for my soul. It is much to thin lately and need feeding - unlike it's everlasting bloating master. lol.

Well, that's it for my random Thursday. I wish you all nice day ahead, and all the best!

Sincerely still Bratty,

Lovey Dovey Tuesday: A Person To Keep

As you get to know someone, you will eventually learn a lot of their traits that you dislike, hate or annoys you. That's normal. But have you ever felt that even though you definitely hate those traits in that person, you never seem to be able to hate them or keep a distance from them? That, I believe is called accepting a person as they are. Come bad or wrong.

Source

Lets just say, you ever find this person, NEVER let them go. Despite all the things they hate about you, if a person still stay with you even though you do not bring them any apparent benefit then keep in mind that this person is someone worth for you to keep. Treat them well as they are the person who will always accept you as you are. They might be a friend, a lover, a family member. No matter who they are, always remember to appreciate them. Because they are the one who will always be there for you through thick and thin.

Source

But also be reminded, if you don't appreciate them, or keep mistreating them and take them for granted, eventually they will leave. And once they leave, you'll lose them forever because chances are, they'll never come back.

Even if they are still somewhere you can reach, and somewhere you can see, you will feel it yourself, that they are just not there any more. The place where they usually stand will be a big void that feels so empty. The smile that is always warmly beaming at you will turn to a smile that is so polite, that it felt cold.

Because we hurt the people we love the most and be hurt by the people we love the most. They had loved and accepted you the most as you are, so when they leave, it meant they had been hurt beyond any recovery. And because of that, no matter what you do after that, your relationship with that person will never return to the way it was. And so, you had lost them forever.

Source
I have always tried to remember this, and now, I hope I would be able to remind some of you guys who read this, ALWAYS appreciate those you have around you. Because once you lose them, the word "if only I" would only be empty words.

How to do it? Simple. Just think, if they die tomorrow (touch wood, Nauzubillah) what would be the things you wish you had told them, and what are the things that you would wish to do for them or with them. Then, SAY IT, DO IT. Because you won't get another chance. If you wait for tomorrow, and tomorrow never come, you will regret it. I promise you, you will. I know, I had been there.

Source
Let's take a moment and appreciate those people who are worth for us to keep.

For my friends, family and all those people who had always stand by me through the best days and the worst days of my life, I thank you very much for being there. For those who had received the very worst from me and yet still loved me and accepted me for who I am, I'm sorry for those times I might have hurt you. And know that, from the bottom of my heart, I love you. And will always do. Thank You, for being you. :)

A small reminder to everyone from the Brat,

Oh~..,!?

Oh.

When you read that one word, comprises of 2 letters and a full-stop, how did you read it? How did you interpret it? Like every other word that symbolizes emotion in this word, a simple "oh" could have been interpreted in soooo many ways.

Generally, "oh" is understood as an affirmation of something. But the underlying meaning of the affirmation is something debatable.

Depending on the situation. context , the word could mean a lot of thing. So today I want to explore on this little word "oh".

Situation 1
A: Look at that!
B: What?
A: That!
Source

B: Oh...

Okay, are you looking at the ass or the skirt that screams "hey, i just met you, but this is my number, so call me maybe?" hehe

Anyway, in this case "oh" is probably stating "Oh, I see what you mean. Nice one!"
_________________________________________________________________________________

The same conversation, may apply to the opposite with a different "oh"

Situation 2

A: Look at that!
B: What?
A: That!
source

B: oh!

See? in this "oh" is saying "Damn shit! I see what you mean!"
________________________________________________________________________________

Then there's also the "oh" that indicates you remember something.

Situation 3:
A: It's time!
B: What?
A: Don't tell me you forgot!! It's
source

B: Oh!

This "oh" usually sound excited and affirming something. Sometimes followed by "shit" "shoot" and other things that indicate they almost (or already) in trouble. XD
________________________________________________________________________________

There's also "oh" that comes along with a question mark (Oh?)
Like everything that comes with a question mark this "oh" indicates a question. But be careful. Not ALL "oh?" are meant to be answered...

Situation 4:
A: I have NEVER met a guy as coward as you!
B: oh?
Source
Yep it usually come with one eyebrow raised. Be wary. be VERY wary for these kind of "oh". Cause it would usually comes with an action that is total opposite than you expect. If I were you, I'd run.
_______________________________________________________________________________

In many cases "oh" can be correctly be interpreted with the symbols or words that comes before or after it.
But this one, is the most bewildering one.

Situation 5:
What they said:
A: I'm so sorry. I can't make it. I have to help pick up a friend at XY!

What I heard:
A: I can't make it today, I got something more important than you to do.

B: oh.

Yep, when I used the word "oh." To me, no matter what the other person is saying, it meant exactly the above. To me, they just have something else more important than me to pay attention to.

Which is fine. I mean, I also sometimes have other important things rather than them. In these cases, I would've said "ic, it's ok", or "oh, alright, see you next time". And things like that.

But when I reply only those two letters and a full-stop. You can bet that I'm not okay with it at all. It would have meant I was really looking forward or hoping for it. It would have meant, my heart had just been sliced, and is bleeding a bit. That "oh." would mean

"I'm not okay with this"
"Ouch, that hurts!"
"U are breaking my heart"
"You just completely dashed my hopes"
"So I see, I'm not important enough for you, not the way you are to me."

I'm starting to sound a lot like the overly attached girlfriend. lol

Well, I usually return to normal in a while after that. And I would probably soon forget about that incident.
But still, it doesn't lessen the impact it has on me (lol spoken like a real drama queen.)

So anyway, these are just some of the "oh" that crossed my mind. I bet if I "squeeze" more from my brain, I'll get more. But I'm getting lazier to do so.

Tell me, what does "oh" meant for you?

Will write again when I feel like it XD

Oh so Drama!

Hello everyone!

How have life been treating you? Me? At first I thought life had been tough. I was tested with all sorts of problems and heartaches to the point that I felt like crying helplessly - but the thing is, being in the situation I was, I could not even afford the luxury of crying.

But throughout that trying times, I thank Allah that He made me realize that I was blessed with great people surrounding me. My friends, my employers, my colleague, my family - having everyone around me that is so supportive and understanding, I was able to brave it through and face my day with smile and laughter. - Yup Brat had to pretend to grow up a bit. heheh~

Wednesday Blues~ "Accepting you're gone, but feeling like you're still here.."

Have you ever felt like you're over something, that things had gone back to the way they are but really, it didn't? Well, these things seems to happen a lot to me.

It was such a cloudy day~
I lost a very good friend  about 5 months back. It came as a shock that paralyzed me for three days, and kept me in a dark and sad mood for almost a month. But life had to go on. And kept on living is what I did.

Do you know what homestay is?

I bet some of you still have a wrong impression on this. Honestly, three years ago I would've given you a blank face if you say "homestay" to me.

Then, 2 years ago, if you have said "homestay" to me, I would've thought you were talking about staying at someone's home with them/their family for awhile, while you are there. /sweat - that would be too uncomfortable for me! Pass!

A MAN man up and say sorry, BOY!

It is seriously frustrating and irritating when you have to deal with a man-boy. A man-boy I mean here is a male who is SUPPOSED to be mentally matured at their age (early twenties) and THINKS themselves as a full-fledge male and TRY to carry themselves as a man but in reality, they are mentally inadequate to act as one and thinks that the world revolves around them and nobody else mattered but themselves.

In other words an immature MAN who still thinks like a BOY.

Don't get me wrong, there are early-twenties guys who are refreshingly matured and very much reliable, in fact, I have come across a lot of them but in this post I'm talking about those who are not.

When I was in my late teens and even up until now in my mid-twenties, every now and then this type of man-boy will appear right in front of me. I have to admit, it is a delicious prospect for me to try and knock some sensibility into them but for each and every time, I find that dealing with man-boys are ultimately exhausting. Emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. Having a woman-girl who has little toleration with BSs at the side at that particular moment definitely does not help the situation (yeap my darling lil sis).

One characteristics shared by ALL man-boys I've met is they NEVER say sorry. What's worst is that they DO NOT know they are in the wrong or if they do, they just don't want to admit it.

I always find this very puzzling. What is so hard about saying sorry? It won't kill you, it won't hurt you, it won't make you look less. In fact, saying sorry makes you the BIGGER person. Saying sorry makes less people hurt (emotionally and perhaps physically). Saying sorry when it is appropriate to do so marks a MATURE and WISE man.

Two most prominent time I have encountered this man-boy type was when I was 20 and just recently. For as long as I had known them, they had hurt my feelings numerous times, and they knew it. They had crossed the line for "joking" so many times and they knew it but they NEVER say sorry. Not even when I decided to walk away.

Five years ago, after being brutally beaten and hurt (emotionally) by a man-boy I decided to walk away from him. I decided that it was time for me to put myself first and not be hurt by him again (which I failed miserably). When we reconciled as friends, until the very end (I totally disconnected myself from him 2 years later) he never once said he was sorry to me - even when he admitted his wrong to his friend. He was hurt the way that he had hurt me and even worse both of the times, yet still he had never apologized to me.

Now, five years later, I found another man-boy. I am no longer that 18 years old girl who is so very excited with love and life but has little or no filtering for heartbreaks anymore. Thankfully, I had matured with age and know better than to hurt myself over a guy who is not worth my emotions.

But this was a different set of circumstances, because I am not romantically interested in him. He was more like a lil brother or a friend and I am merely an observer. I saw and witness all the things that the last guy did all over again - only this time I am not the recipient of those  cruel treatments. I try to warn the girls (yes there were more than one) about what they might be subjecting themselves to (in the most subtle way) but I know, I wouldn't be able to save them from the heartache I once felt. So I tried to drum in a little reasoning to the man-boy but unfortunately, like all man-boys, he just wouldn't listen and just blatantly REFUSE to see their wrong. So, even as a friend I too had to deal with the tantrums of this man-boy and let me tell you, it is damn FRUSTRATING. Just imagined, he had caused his cousin (who had an appointment with me) to be late for our appointment an hour and a half (which caused me and my sis wasted a good three hours waiting for the appointment), but still asked WHY he needed to apologize and WHAT wrong did he did!! (thanks to that, I now have a topic for my blog).

so for both times, I told them,

A real MAN man up and say SORRY when they are in the WRONG. You still have a LONG way to go, BOY!
(the first time I added, call me only when you have GROWN UP!)

Other (annoying, infuriating, exasperating) characteristics shared by man-boys,

They are BAD with promises
They are think everything revolves around them
They think their feelings are the most important thing and others just don't have any feelings or if they do, it mattered less then theirs.
They think that the world and everyone else MUST follow or WILL follow their rhythm and will not subject himself to change it.
They think they are "old" enough.
They usually assumes they are the only one who is right.
Some of them also assumes that they are very knowledgeable in everything.
They can be heartlessly cruel
They seldom own up to their mistakes

Yet other (still annoying, infuriating, exasperating when combined with the above) better characteristics shared by man-boys,

They are good friends, who will go to lengths to help you (when they feel like it)
They are smooth talker (well, at least they know what to say at the right time)
They know how to please people (but some of them when people (especially girls) started to feel special with the treatment and care they showed, they will pull themselves out in the most cruel way)
They are curious, intelligent people (although their performance in studies vary on their level of commitment) thus they know a lot of things (usually unrelated to studies).
They are heart-throbs (whether they realize it or not)

Through time, these man-boys do grow up. They will mature and by that time, be ripe for plucking. hahaha. And I must say that I'm looking forward to what kind of person they will bloom into. My only wish is for them to NOT TAKE A DAMN LONG TIME to do so!!!! lols~

A week hiatus

This is going to be SUPER short.
There will be approximately one week of hiatus of posting in this blog.
I will be at my hometown and there is no internet connection there.
I have a broadband but the connection is SUPER SLOW
Slower than a snail, slower than Komuter.
I can't even upload a single picture.

So, to all Brat's readers (if any)
Have a Nice Holiday.
and for those who celebrate it, no matter what religion, race and believe you hold,
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Please forgive my mistakes and wrong doings,
may it be in form of words, action or writing.
For I am just a mere human, who is so imperfect,
that I cannot avoid making mistakes.

Take care..

Randomness of A Bratty Brat

No mood. So, I'm doing a random post extracted from Shreko's blog

20 Random things about the Bratty Brat.

1. I'm such a contradiction that I myself not sure which is me. Example, my personality test shows that I am a free-spirited person that doesn't like to be bound by rules, but I am also a person who follows rules and rarely break it.

2. I don't like mayonnaise, dairy milk, yogurt and cheese. the only cheese I eat is mozzarella that is cooked and dairy milk that I do drink is chocolate flavors

Ergh... hate it (eggs are okay though)

3. I love Dark chocolates, and I hate White chocolates (because of point 2)

4. I am a taekwondo -black belt holder (Dan1) but I haven't been practicing for almost 3 years. And I had been in the tournament 5-6 times got 4 medals out of it.

Haiiiyaaa!!
