"A genius (plural genii or geniuses, adjective ingenious) is an excellent intellect, excellent work or an excellent achievement. More than just originality, creativity, or intelligence, the adjective "genius" is associated with the achieving of unprecedented insight. This is called the spark of genius. The genius (the excellence, a noun) of a piece of work raises a perceiver's expectation. The use of the adjective "genius" is generalized in some instances. It is particular in other instances. It might be particular to such a discrete field as philosophy, sports, statesmanship, science or the arts.
The noun "genius" is a level of aptitude, capability, or achievement that exceeds the accomplishment of any other person in the same field. We have deduced from the normal distribution of intelligence that the concept is applicable to excellence at the of top 1‰, i.e. three standard deviations or greater, in any peer group. In psychology, the inventor of the first IQAlfred Binet, described persons in the top 1‰ of those tested as genii (a noun). This usage of the noun "genius" is closely related to the general concept of intelligence." test"
Some people say (don't ask me who did, I can't remember) there is a fine line between "GENIUS" and "IDIOTS" or is it "INSANITY"?- Either way, I agree.
Known genius people like Isaac Newton, Mozart, Picasso, and even the genius chess player, Bobby Fischer are only most definitely extraordinarily good in one area they put their mind into. These people focuses TOO MUCH on one thing and mastered it that they practically fail in other aspect of their lives.
In other words, GENIUS are people who could be ABSOLUTELY single-minded all the way to pursue what they put their minds to. I have yet to read any story of any "genius" that lead a happy, understandable life. They usually think too much that their minds went goo~ goo~ gaa~ gaa~ (have mental illness) or they have some disability, or they have heart-wrenching life history - And ALL of them are most definitely shuned by their peers in their lifetime. Of course, since - NO ONE understands what the heck are they talking about! - and so they spent the rest of their lifes in seclusion with only close friends and family, no social life, and went deeper into the realm that they created.
In this aspect, I'm glad I am just slightly more "bright" than other brats. No, I don't believe I need to be a genius to lead a sucessfull and happy life. Heck, I'm better off without it. Don't you think so?
Life is just not worth to be lived in sadness. Smile!
